Adventures in Novus

In this inauspicious episode, Anders finds a Catfolk in his room, allowing us to make all of the cat jokes (like in the title of this episode!) The group goes over their gifts from Phyllis. Assuring King Raz that the group will set off to help his family soon, our heroes make a quick stop at the Library of Sarenrae to research further into the past of the dwarves, and then attend a town meeting to try to convince the town of Betchland that the threat of demons is real. That's a busy day right there! To find out if they succeed... you're just going to have to listen. Alexei is the best.

In this episode, we introduce a new player character as our group settles the Cyclopes into Anders's old shack. After a quick (and pokey) appointment with Doc Fingers, the group learns more about the Barbarian and the things that are happening deep in the Dragonspine mountains. A new game by the name of Shart is sweeping the nation. Things heat up between the Barbarian and Anders prompting an intense arm wrestle

It's a new day in Novus and it's time for our heroes to bring the prisoners, and even some of the people responsible for their capture, back to Betchland. A motley crew of various races and cyclops still have some animosity to get through as they travel dangerous lands with little food. One adventurer goes missing and a new adventurer is found. How will Betchland receive this large returning host? To find out who, what, when, and where... Well you're just going to have to listen!

HECKING AWESOME LORE ALERT! In this episode Baelthor continues his investigation of a strange circular covering found inside of one of the hatches that held the kidnapped prisoners from Betchland. Protected by a puzzle written in a mysterious language, he uses his magics to decipher the language on the covering, and quickly calls the rest of the party over to look. Our heroes gain some valuable insight about the possible nature of the impending doom, as well as some pretty shocking revelations from two of the gang (and that's not even including the indecent exposure that Travis inflicts upon the rest of the party). The discussion gets Artie pretty charged up, and here's a real shock: K'rrick adds to his vast collection of scars, and Anders's drunken antics continue to rage on. The excitement will have you holding your breath!

In this beautiful episode our group discusses the improvements they gained by hitting level 4 but the battle isn't quite over yet. There are two very angry cyclopses and their unconscious baby. A situation the group will have to handle delicately or risk facing their wrath, which would also complicate saving the rest of the captured people from Betchland. There is also a surprise down in one of the hatches. To learn this surprise... You're just going to have to listen. Enjoy

Hello everyone and thank you for listening! We are currently under summer scheduling, so there may be an extra week or so in between episodes. This episode legitimately gets crazy as our heroes ascend the mountain searching for cyclops' and getting to the bottom of the mysterious sound from above. There is also some wild rolling in this episode, most 1s and 20s I've ever seen. Anders gets all sassy with illusion spells and gets a little sensitive about his age as he watches Young Anders show off. Travis has only one shot, one opportunity, but heavy is the crown. Baelthor and K'rrick tactically lead the group up the mountain to an insane battle. What does it sound like when a paladin helicopters in full plate armor? You'll have to listen to find out.

It's Redemption Day!! K'rrick gets out of control on the grape drank, we learn more about Arty, and the group takes part in the Redemption Day celebration. We learn what each character wants to repent for (and there are definitely some surprises there). Baelthor gets closer with his new group, learns more about their backstories and previous adventures, but there seems to be something off by the way he's reacting. There may also be a surprise or two about Anders... You'll have to listen to find out!

We go long in this fantastic episode and hilarity ensues with the most ridiculous scene of our podcast yet. We start with our heroes doing some shopping before meeting with the leader of Betchland (Richard Marx) to warn him of Calam, and to discover more information about the giants or any other potential troubles they may run into north of Betchland. We sure do learn a lot about Anders' past. Bees!?

In this episode, one of Esmeralia der Phronia's (the witch from Traders Haven) prophecies come true: “a bounty is set, and it comes soon." A bar fight ensues. For the first time, K'rrick gets nervous in a battle as he's pinned into a corner. This is also the first battle with the new full group! We learn a lot about Orcish politics, anatomy, and character. Remember to like and subscribe!! It helps us a lot. We greatly appreciate everyone who has already.

Anders, K'rrick, and Travis are BACK! Also Arty. We reconnect with the main group just outside Betchland where they then learn of giant attacks in the area. Get ready to learn a lot about the town where Anders was a delinquent alcoholic for the past 20 years. Many surprises await them in this old trading town, maybe even a half-elf with an eidolon companion? How many Geralds are too many? Only one way to find out! If you would take some time to rate our podcast on the platform you use, we would really appreciate it. Liking, subscribing, and commenting really helps out our pod.

In this final episode of the Baelthor introductory story arc, our heroes emerge from the underground only to come face to face with what they believe are to be dragons... in the dark. I bet you assumed this since it's in the title but I can GUARANTEE that you will not expect what happens in the battle or in the end. We hope you enjoy!

Baelthor, Skeeter, Saltok, Will, and a hesitant Clark descend into the unknown as the mysterious platform they've activated takes them down to the depths of Novus. There could be anything down there, even a boat! Tensions rise amongst the group as different interests and priorities start to materialize. You know what to do, click, listen, and enjoy!

In this episode Saltok, Skeeter, Will, Baelthor, and Clark are waylaid on their journey to the Valley of the Lost by a godly sign from Baelthor's deity Calistria. Although the group follows, Baelthor might be starting to regret his choice of company. While he had already been traveling with Brother Ripov, Saltok's patience with the snake oil salesman's questionable antics is starting to wear thin. Skeeter has seemingly found a new convert for the flock in young Clark. Then there is Will, still worshipping The All-Mother. What does the wasp want? Will this unlikely group persevere? You know what to do to find out.

Hello Supernerds, do we have a surprise for you! We have added another PC to the mix, Danny! Now the party is 4 party members strong and we will be running an adventure with him before returning to our main story line. But worry not! This is all content that is applicable to the overall main story. If you haven't listened to episode 12 the first tales episode, or you forget what happened, I recommend giving that a listen first. In this episode we explore a different side of Novus to give context to a side of the world we haven't talked about much. Alexei, Nick, and Mike all play new characters for this too! Think of it as a beautiful, fun preview that will add to the story of our main adventuring party when we get back to them!
